Ok, I'm a great cook, I've cooked amazing things for YEARS- has nothing to do with skill. I've never encountered issues with ANY other oven besides this one. Ever since my fiance & I moved into our apartment with this electric oven, I have trouble cooking a lot of things. It doesn't matter what type of pan I use(cookie sheet, a deeper pan, glass, metal, greased, ungreased, anything). I now have to put it on the bottom rack for 90% of the cooking time, then put it on the highest rack for a tiny bit to get it golden on the top & it STILL doesn't cook thoroughly on the bottom. When I bake stuff like cookies for example, they're always SO gooey on the bottom & the bottom falls apart almost like it's only halfway cooked on the underneath. If I cook them any longer though, they'll burn on the top, this is on the bottom rack. I've NEVER had difficulties before with any of this, just this oven. I was hopin some1 might B able to give me a few tips to help with the underneath of the food cooking at least a little better? Is there ANYTHING I can possibly do? I'd highly appreciate it if some1 could assist me. THANX! ^_^
