Thin copper wire of lenth 100 m is wound on a cylindrical copper stool of length 10 cm. What is the change in length of the wire when the temperature is raised from 10 degree celcius to 40 degree celcius?
Answer is 5.1 cm
Need explaination please.

dL = L*Ce*dT = 100*Ce*(40 - 10) = 3000*Ce where Ce is the thermal coefficient of expansion for copper.
Answer is in meters
