Thi is a question about pre algebra?

so Im in the sixth grade and in the advanced math class witch is pre algebra, so we have a test 2 morrow and one concept we have to know is p and c, I forgt the actual names for them like what they stand for but like, theirs questions like

5p6 and 7c8

I know that theirs something with multipying, but we havent rewieved this for while so can you please help?
