...What can I do? Hi, I bought a used Suburban from a Honda dealership in a town that's about 3 hours away. It has a 30 day warranty, I'm about 2 weeks in. I noticed that it stalls when I turn on the A/C so I took it in and they said that the part would cost around $800 and that they would have to order it and that it was covered. I called them and they said that they are still trying to figure out who is going to pay for the part, so that we may have to pay for it. I am wondering if anyone out there has had a similar problem and what can I say to them to sound lawyer-like to scare them and make them pay for the part or what words can I use to make them think that I know my rights and that they have to pay for it. Thank you so much in advance.

Keep everything documented on paper, including the warranty, when you took it in for service while it was under warranty. Dates and names are especially important. Tell them if they renege (use that word, and pronounce it well) on the warranty you will take them to a small claims court for the repairs AND time away from work.

Be prepared to carry through on this threat in case they try to make you pay.
