OK My topic is to justify WWII propaganda in America. The q was: Given that America was / is a free democracy, was the use of exaggerated and at times racist propaganda justifiable? In other words, was it okay to "stoop down to the enemy's level" in times of warfare? Justify your answer with at least 3 examples you research.
"Through inspiring radio broadcasts, exaggerated posters, and even animated cartoons by Walt Disney himself, WWII propaganda in America was ultimately justified by its effectiveness in galvanizing the American public to stem the rising tide of fascism during the 1940’s."
Is this thesis okay?? He doesn't want it to be more than 4 lines (it's 3 lines in word) but I want to find another way to say propaganda was exaggerated.
