I have to analyze a set of poems by Gaspara Stampa and I can't seem to come up with a good theme/thesis statement. My book says "Rather than glorifying the distant beloved, however, she asserted the moral worth of the suffering lover, thus transforming the essentially male Petrarchan ideal into a femal point of view". How can I use that to for my thesis??
