NOW HERE IS THE QUESTION
The Bible says
“The fathers shall not be put to death for the children, neither shall the children be put to death for the fathers: every man shall be put to death for his own sin.” (Deuteronomy 24:16)
and The Quran says
“…No person earns any (sin) except against himself (only), and no bearer of burdens shall bear the burden of another…” (Quran 6:164)
So why do Christians believe that everyone is born with original sin?
In Islam every child is born totally sinless and pure and if they were to die at any early age they would go to paradise without any accountability.
Islam does not believe we are predisposed to commit sin. On the contrary Islam says we have choice to obey or disobey God. The choice is ours either way equally. To predispose us to lean to one side would not be true freedom of choice.
God, the Creator knows humankind perfectly, He knows our imperfections and our shortcomings, and thus He has prescribed repentance for us and left the door to repentance open until the sun rises from the west (near Judgement Day).
“And turn in repentance and in obedience with true Faith to your Lord and submit to Him, before the torment comes upon you, then you will not be helped.” (Quran 39:54)
“O you who believe! Turn to God with sincere repentance! It may be that your Lord will expiate from you your sins, and admit you into Gardens under which rivers flow (Paradise)…”(Quran 66:8)
“And all of you beg God to forgive you all, O believers, that you may be successful.” (Quran 24:31)
Repentance is as easy as turning to God and seeking His mercy and forgiveness. In the darkest hour or longest night, God is waiting for all to ask of Him, and to repent to Him.
According to what God says in the Qur'an, Jesus was born miraculously by the will of God without a father. His mother is regarded as a chaste and virtuous woman and is a highly respected figure in Islam. The Qur'an states that Jesus was the result of a virgin birth. For Muslims Mary is a symbol of submission to God and piety.
SO MY QUESTION IS THAT WHY DO CHRISTIAN BELIEVE THAT EVERYONE IS BORN WITH ORIGINAL SIN IF IT'S NOT IN THE BIBLE?
