The book is about a boy named Kipp who lived in Alaska and accidentally killed another boy with gasoline and a lighter. I think they were arguing over a baseball glove. The cover of the book had a picture of a lighter. This boy had to move away and change his identity because the people back at his home in alaska were angry with this young 'murderer'. He moved to another state, and made friends. One night, he and his friends got drunk, and Kipp confessed and told everyone that he had murdered someone in Alaska and had changed his name. They had to relocate once again and moved to somewhere on the coast in Texas and made a friend, a girl. She showed him how to sail a boat, or something. They got into an argument. I cant remember the rest. Please help me. I need the name and the author of this book. Thanks!
