the Apollo.What was his name? Steve Harvey was hosting and when the man walked out Steve asked him what he did for a living and he said he was a chef. Then Steve asked what type of food he cooked, and the guy said soul food. He was great and I was wanting to try and find him singing the song somewhere on the web.
 
Not sure if it's the same performance you're thinking of, but this guy had long blond hair, and he brought down the house with his falsetto on Reasons.

As I recall, I saw this sometime in the early 90s or so...

Can anyone help find him?
