There is a sharp pain in my aunts stomac?

Okay. So my aunts a vegan and she decided she would eat shrimp for a day. Then when she ate it she was going back and forth to the bathroom. That was on like 12/21/10 and she's been like that until now. She says the pain is unbearable and when she goes she can't her stomach hurts too much. She even tried drinking pepto bismol. I feel bad. Is there a reason why this happened?
