if you are feeling bad for the dog then you have to help him. all you have to do is take the dog and knok the doors around 4-5 houses asking that is it their dogs or not. may be its one of yours neighbours dog. tell them to take care of that dog , if you cant find any owner then its may be a lost puppy, take it to your home and put a report on the nearest police station or some poster around your house.

There is a dog in my neighborhood I don't know what house he belongs to, I don't think he's a stray dog but I'm not sure. He is always out in the afternoon roaming the streets and he is always limping. This is really bothering me because I have 2 dogs and if they were limping I would take them to the vet but it seems like the owner doesn't care. I don't know who the owner is either...what should I do? I feel really bad for this dog what if he has a broken paw and he is in pain Should I call the dog pound or something? I just feel bad that if I call the dog pound they are going to euthanize him and then I'd feel really guilty. I don't know if I want that in my conscience I really love dogs. I need advice please and no stupid answers okay I need help with this and if you cant help then don't answer!!!

Try to find the owners. It is possible that the dog could have any number of problems that it has been treated for. Ask the owner when you find them. I found an old dog wandering my street limping that had been hit by a car as a puppy. She always limped because one leg was shorter, but you couldn't tell unless you looked very closely.

Does it have a collar, maybe read the name tag and see who it belongs to. Just call them and let them know their dog is out. If you do take the dog to the vet, it might have one of those owner microchips. Maybe, follow the dog in secret and see where it goes. Check around for lost dog fliers.
My dogs get out all the time. We have a gated backyard and they dig under the fence. Our neighbors always bring them back for us or let us know their outside, so we can go get them. My dogs always come back home though, always. Our dogs are terrified of roads. They refuse to cross it or walk on it, so it is not like they will get hit by a car.
My dogs limp all the time when they are tired. They usually stop walking and find shade. If force 'em to keep walk, they start limping on three paws.
