what do you think of this statement?
im not trying to dream up a story and have lot hope haha. i just would like to heard what you think about this concept

False. There HAS to be another original story to write. I mean, you just have to think outside the box...or if everybody thinks outside the box (as my teachers have always told me), you should think inside the box. :)
I'm sure everyone can come up with SOME kind of story that isn't 100% identical to someone else's story. :)
 
I totally disagree. I read many many fresh and interesting stories all the time. Just get away from the vampires and the wizards and you would be surprised at how many unique ideas there are for you to write about. The world changes every single day. Every day brings dozens of new occurrences and new story ideas. It's just that everyone seems to coagulate (pun intended) around vampire and wizard stories. Pax-C
 
I agree with Persi. People seem so obsessed with vampires and wizards nowadays due to you-know-what-the-two-books-are.
