The world existed for millions of years before the computer. Economies existed for thousands of years before the computer. Seems simple enough.

Oh, I can count and calculate within reason, and I have a great handwriting. Also, I'll work on the farm or hunt if I have to and I can cook. I just hope the people around me won't try to involve me in silly boardgames.

Do you mean there was no economy before this computer technology? When there is a need things come up out of compulsion.A system is developed and life goes on.

World economy created computer technology. If technology slows or even stops, what we have now wont disappear. We would have to learn to get by with what we have now. Better question would be, 'will computer technology collapse without world economy?'.

All financial information these days is accessed by computer and stored on computers. Analytical software essential for compiling and interpreting financial data is digital. There is just too much data that must be handled too fast to be able to go back to pre-computer days, except for very small businesses. For large corporations to go back to pre-computer types of financial management would be impossible and cause collapse because the information that is now in digital form would be irretrievable, and the scope and speed with which financial work could be done without computers would be impossible to handle. Think of multi-national corporations with offices all over the planet. How would they communicate and network? By snail mail? Think of global supply chains. How would it be possible to assemble and manage materials from all over the planet without computer networks? A world economy is possible only through fast, large capacity computer systems linked through networks.

Even if technology ceased to exist, I would simply fire up my Spectrum 28k. We can run the world on that. It'll be fine.
