My husband and I love the name Liam for our future son. The question is: do we name him "Liam" or "William" and use Liam as his nickname? According to the Social Security Administration, William ranked 8th in the nation for boys born in 2008. Liam came in at #75. Neither of us wants a name that is too common, but we don't want to be one of "those" parents who name their son "Jimmy" or "Bobby" instead of James or Robert. Please weigh in and help us resolve the debate.
