The weather is colder now... should I heat my betta fish's tank somehow? Or am I crazy?

The weather is a lot colder now and even in my house the air is a lot cooler then it has been. I don't think betta fish like cold water and was wondering if I should heat the water in the tank somehow or if I'm just crazy and the fish is fine. He's outlived all my other fish and it would be sad if he died now, so I'm a little paranoid ;)
 
Yes Betta's need heaters. These are tropical fish that benefit greatly from a stable heated tank, at least 75F. A fluctuating yo yo temperature will seriously effect your fish.
