the body.? Whilst listening to some sorts of music, or watching certain types of movies that may appeal to particular emotions, I sometimes feel that warm sensation that begins at the top of the body and moves throughout to the bottom. At times, this warm feeling may only pass through only exclusively the right or left side of my body.
For example, if I am listening to music which involves much passive emotion, the left side of my body will warm up. When listening to a more objectively emotion-filled piece, the right side of my body will warm up.
My question is this: do the right and left brains respond to outside feelings as actively as this? Bands and movies that warm the left side of my body would be Tears for Fears and Donnie Darko, etc. The right side warms up when listening to stuff like Rage Against the Machine and whilst watching 'No Country for Old Men'.
At times, both sides will warm up when listening to a band such as Tool or when watching 'The Shawshank Redemption'.
