The title and author of this romance/suspence novel?

I know the plot...the fbi agent believes his wife is dead, but then he sees her in a group of romance novelists touring the fbi building...And all I remember apart from that is he made an outrageously grand bathroom with her in mind.
Does anyone know what book i'm talking about???
and the wife had been hidden by some other guy while getting her memory.
