Well, I have a short-answer test on this book tomorrow and the teacher gave us a list of questions that we should think about before the test. I know the answers, but I was wondering what you guys thought about these discussion questions. Maybe I'll get some ideas from you guys that I will use on the test. So PLEASE, if you have time, answer these questions!!

2. difference between story truth and happening truth
3. The chapter "The Man I Killed" never directly states that the character killed anyone. What purpose does this ambiguity serve?
4. O'Brian changes his point of view when he talks to his daughter why?
5. How does Linda's death affect how he deals with pain, suffering, and loss in Vietnam?
6. Why is Cross unsure of the things he does?
7. Why Rat Kiley wants to shoot himself in the toe
8. How is Kiowa's death symbolic of the tragedy of the war?
