Plot Outline: On one last road trip before they're sent to serve in Vietnam, two frienRAB (Handley and Bomer) and their girlfrienRAB (Baird and Brewster) get into an accident that calls their local sheriff (Ermey) to the scene. Thus begins a terrifying experience where the teens are taken to a secluded house of horrors, where a young, would-be killer is being nurtured.

it looks exactly like that last chainsaw film crossed with that backpacker aussie horror i cant remember its name?

Still having said that i quite enjoyed them so i may give this a chance
 
The original film didn't end with the family being beaten so I don't know why the remake had to necessitating a prequel for the follow-up. Surely they must have thought, 'we're starting a 'new' franchise here....'

It's called hype people - "the fact that something like this escaped through the studio system is a bit of a movie miracle.". Please, the way that is said is as if there has never been a horror movie made before where someone gets killed in it. If anyone believes any of it, then the person that said the part in italic writing in this post has done their job well in trying to hyping a new film.

They dont make horror movies anymore, they just mass market so-called horror flicks to the MTV generation.
