My birthday is coming up (this saturday)...
And I am dead set on getting a tattoo. I want to get the phrase "Non est vivere sed valere vita est." on my inner left forearm... Haha, I'm not sure if that's the right way to say it, but you get my point.
I also wanted to get cherry blossoms around it. If you have a vivid imagination, could you tell me what you think about how it would look? The whole Japanese/Latin mix...
They both have deep meaning for me so, this isn't just some "phase" i'm going through. Like I said, I am SET on getting this. The blossoms were just a last minute detail that popped into my head (because they symbolize something deep and close to me). So, yeah.
Opinions?
It translates to something along the lines of: "There is more to life than just being alive."
It'll be above my wrist so, it shouldn't be a problem if I had to hide it for work. There's a reason why I want that phrase in that area. Also, the blossoms signify that life is short, and to live it to the fullest. (See the beauty in it - Make it worth living.)
