The Stimulus cost $500B ($300B was tax cuts) Why don't cons whine about...

...the Iraq War, which cost 6X as much?
scooterpoop : Making Work Pay Credit (Individual taxpayers - $400 per), Hire Act (eliminated employers' Social Security contribution of 6.2% for each new hire in 2010) etc. etc. etc....
I feel sorry for your clients if you were unaware of the two I mentioned.

The stimulus cost $787 billion.

There were no tax cuts.

I'm a CPA. I take annual seminars on tax changes. I do taxes for a living and get paid $350/hour for it. I would know if there were anything affecting taxes in the bill.

Your first clue should have been the web site sponsored by the stimulus bill to tell Americans what the money was spent on. By the end of 2009, 14% had been spent (about $110 billion). If there were tax cuts, wouldn't that $300 billion have shown up?

If you're not smart enough to know when you're being lied to, you WILL fall for anything.

If scooterpoop is wrong, name the tax cuts. Don't just mindlessly repeat the drivel you read in the media.

The Iraq ware did not cost 6 times as much as the stimulus. In the 8 years we've been there, it hasn't even cost 1.5 times the cost of the stimulus.

And remember that the Iraq war's costs are spread out over 8 years compared to the 1 year of the stimulus outlay.

You don't have a very good grasp of facts. Sux2bu.

Scooterpoop is wrong. Tax cuts were a huge part of the stimulus accounting.

EDIT: Here you go. http://www.propublica.org/special/stimulus-plan-taxcut-list

Here's some more: http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/statements/2010/jan/28/barack-obama/tax-cut-95-percent-stimulus-made-it-so/

Again, a HUGE part of the stimulus was idiotic tax cuts.
