J joseph New member Feb 4, 2010 #2 valve job! sounds a lot like a blown head gasket w-w/o bad valve seals. how old is the motor- may need to do the crank and rod bearings.

A Alekat New member Feb 4, 2010 #4 Cooling system is low on coolant and damaged. May be a head gasket where the coolant is leaking into a combustion chamber so when the vehicle is started it burns out the coolant.
