It?s been a while since anybody discussed this, and I know that there hasn?t been any new information about it, but I?ve been thinking about this movie as of late. Now that Cartoon Saloon has proven itself with The Secret Of Kells, with its critical acclaim and Oscar nomination, would people be more accepting of a Skunk Fu! movie? People were somewhat skeptical the last time this was discussed. According to recent articles on the success of Kells, Exit The Dragon is very much alive, albeit second on their slate behind Song Of The Sea.
I was reluctant to watch the series when it was still on television, as I feared it would be nothing but toilet humor due to a certain defense mechanisim of the title character, but the series surprised me and it actually had some decent action scenes and interesting characters. I believe as I believed when the movie was first announced that they could do some impressive things with what the series already established, and with Cartoon Saloon now more of a proven studio, I believe that even more.
