Ok, so, am I the only one who notices some differences in The Simpsons series? When I was a kid, during the '90s I remember the stories - except, of course, those 'specials' during Halloween - used to be more realistic, and about everyday issues. Every character had their own personality; Bart was a rebel, but he would also show some sensitivity, and even though Lisa was always the smart kid, she would also have fun with Bart, for example.
Now I see this show is full of nonsense stuff, and even some personalities are changed in order to fit in with the story that is trying to be told. Homer, for instance, used to be a very dull guy, but now he's just ridiculous and childish.
Do you notice the same?
What other differences would you spot?
Thanks for answering!
PS: Sorry about my english; it's not my first language.
