I have heard that there is going to be a new Simpsons Movie.

When will it be released?
Will it be the end of The Simpsons?
Has it being made?
Will it be a series of movies?

As for as I'm aware and as the info suggests, it will be a full length cartoon, just like South Park, but better. Original cast for the voices will be used and I'm sure they will have speacial guests lined up when the writing has been completed.

It is definately 100% a cartoon. It just would not work in real-life

South Park the movie was up there with the best SP episodes in terms of laughs and quality.
If Simpsons the movie comes close to being up there with some of the classic simpson episodes, it will be an enjoyable 1:30-2 hours

Hopefully it will not be as sterile as some of the more recent episodes.

While i agree with you, i have to admit that The Flinstones was a film that proved that this isnt ALWAYS the case.

No one has said so.
No it hasn't been made , but a working script is in progress.
The cast of The Simpsons signed a deal continuing the produce TV episodes along with the option of up to 3 movies.
