That was handled surprisingly well. I'm just sort of disappointed they didn't use Hank Scorpio or something for the missile silo part.

Anyone see the end? If Elsie Castellaneta is who I think it is, I believe Homer's mom died in real life and this episode was made in her honor.

Not bad at all, much better then Grandma Simpson's last episode. Not as good as "Death Picks Cotton" but one of the more successful emotional Simpsons episodes in a long timer. A good way to get rid of a very good character that should not be used too much.
