The Simpson couch sequence or episode ?

There's a Simpson episode or couch sequence based on an English program about this island where they take people that learn too much and/or are spies. One of the themes is theses spheres that capture people that try to escape( The scene I remember took place on a beach) . One scene in particular from the main series that I remember is the the main character manages to escape from the island and gets back to his apartment in London and there's a woman living in his apartment driving his car ( it was some yellow old school car) the main character then quotes the reg and chassis number to the woman. Another thing I remember is that things used to be really weird on the island, like they were trying to make the people they detained think they were insane. I know this sounds vague but I sure this is a real series I've seen it before but the name just escapes me.
