We don't usually get films of this quality at this time of night. One of the few films that doesn't lose it's edge despite how many times it's been spoofed. Finally, a great idea for a scary halloween mask :p :D

brilliant film, but how bad were itv's choices of where to cut for ad breaks! For most of them, if they'd waited one or two minutes, it would've made more sense to cut there.

"I'm having a friend for dinner"

I watched the film last night and have a question.......when one of the victims is in her car (before she helps Buffalo Bill load a sofa into his van) she is listening to some music - any ideas who it is? I think it could be David Bowie, but cannot find this song on any of my CD's

Can you guys help??? :D

do you mean when shes singing along?

it was a womens voice wasnt it. something like american girls in the lyrics?? oh this is gonna bug me now

Yep, the one where she's singing along with it. It goes something like...' blah blah baby, wanna dance all night, she was an american girl' . It sounded like Bowie and I KNOW I've heard it before!!

Thats the one!! Soapbubbles I could kiss you!! You have made my night :D Does'nt he sound like David Bowie though.........

Thanks again!

Has anyone ever seen that Comic Strip show "Gregory - Diary of a nutcase" which was half about a real-life serial killer(played by Ade EdmonRABon) amd half a pisstake of Silence of the Lambs. Sums up what I think about this film, which, mystifyingly, seems to be thought of now as a classic.

"Starling! I want you to go to the killer's house and duel in the dark with him until one of you is dead......everyone else, we're going on a helicopter ride!"

Even though it's gone now, this film senRAB shivers up my spine, and i'm not one for jumping or being on edge when it comes to films. I certainly couldn't watch this late at night though, whoo, i'd be awake the whole of the night :D

Anthony Hopkins and the rest of the psycho's, play their roles brilliantly. You really do get a sense of sickness with this film, and it just shows you what kind of perverted people there could be out there.

I've seen this film once, but i don't intend to see it again though, it's most definitely not my thing. I prefer to watch science fiction or horror movies, horror without the perverted bits in them. Silence Of The Lambs was just too real for me, didn't enjoy it at all to be honest.
