The Secret Show

Does anybody else like this animated program? I?m pretty sure that it?s my favorite animated program on Nicktoons Network; the humor can be a bit childish at times, but it can also be rather clever. I love how each episode begins, with the agents commandeering The Fluffy Bunny Show?s timeslot, as it?s one of the most amusing intros to an animated program that I have seen in quite some time. I?m also rather fond of all of the easter eggs that are included in each episode. You can always find numerous bunnies from The Fluffy Bunny Show running around, and each episode also has a tiny spider crawling by during one scene.

There have only been a few threads about this animated program on Toon Zone, and all of them died after a handful of replies. It?s a shame, as it deserves better than that.

I've seen The Secret Show. It's OK. Much of the shows' humor is very British, which is hardly a surprise since TSS is an import from Britain (Kudos to the shows' producers for getting the great Stephen Fry to do a guest voice in 1 episode).

My biggest complaint about TSS is that I don't like how the main male agent, Victor Volt, is routinely dumped on and made the butt of everyone's jokes, while the female agent, Anita Knight (or is it Night?), comes off as being too perfect and boringly sensible. It's a shame that this series has to follow that tired routine. Many of the shows' recurring gags start to wear thin after a while also.

I was watching the series earlier today and it appears that Nicktoons Network doesn?t show the opening sequence with The Fluffy Bunny Show when the series airs during the day. I know networks are always pressed for time as they wish to include as many commercials as possible, but the opening sequence, as I?ve said, is one of my favorite things about the series. It?s unfortunate.
