The screen on my psp (light) 2001 keeps shutting off when I turn the WLAN switch on

and off. Is it broken??? I go on the internet alot on my psp. Could it be a virus??? When I am watching a movie the screen goes black and it isnt a screen saver. I can still here the sounds playing in the background. And I can chang the light botton that changes the brightness. does anyone know what the prob. is???
