The Ring American Remake Soundtrack

I've been able to play the first 10 minutes on piano, from ear, however i really like it. It was created by Hans Zimmer, who has done some other great soundtracks.

The ring is considered by many to be his best. Is it possible to take the music playing during the credits of a dvd and put them on the hardrive then C.D.

Is this illegal. Any ideas?

It's not as simple as that I'm afraid. It's certainly not impossible, but a bit of a faff. I'm also not convinced that it is entirely legal. Although you may own the DVD, I don't think this automatically gives you the right to extract any audio, or images (for copyright reasons). Software is available though, PM me & if I can recall the name, I'l let you know.

At the end of the day, the quality of the sample is generally not fantastic. Have you tried IMDB, or Soundtrack Collector for the listing & itunes to (legally) acquire the music?

I hear the first movie doesn't actually have that much music to begin with (which would explain why it never got its own album).
