I'm expecting my first child in August and I'm a military wife. I want to be a stay at home mom to raise it for a while BUT I would also like to pull in some extra money to help out, so babysitting seems a reasonable choice. I would only want to watch maybe one or two kids, helping out maybe one or two mothers. What would be the average charge per hour, per child? I want to help out fellow military wives, so I would never charge them too much but I'm not sure what's reasonable. Since this would be such a small thing, would any of it be claimed on taxes? Isn't there a certain amount you have to make a year to even have to claim? Where do they normally offer CPR classes, how long do they take, and are they free? And any good websites to post stuff, or just simply put up fliers? Any recommendations, personal experience would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
