i received a new job offer. i'm going to take it. but i have a week off, after the holidays. i want to still go to my current boss's big holiday party. one last time with the guys before it turns awkward/them hating me for leaving. directly after that is a week off. can i wait until i get back to let them know that i'm leaving and give two weeks then? or is it the right thing to do to notify my boss as soon as i receive the offer, which i received the email form today, hardcopy in two days?
