the right paint job and how much would it cost?

I have a 2000 Chevy Malibu right now the car is Grey but i want the top half to be black(whats the name of that kind of paint job?) and how much would it cost? i dont know if im right but i think that it shouldn't be alot because there are not doing the hole car so can anyone give a a price on it
 
it all depend on the paint color an the paint stages 1 or 2or 3 or 4 stage system and the price will very on the paint along with the clear coat the clear coat is some what costly at times need to check around
