to fix it? Most of the time, my reverse gear doesn't work properly, and when I push on the gas, it does very little. I often have to put the car in another gear and back to reverse multiple times just to pull out of my parking space. It's a 2000 Honda Accord with automatic transmission. I've asked the guys at Jiffy Lube to adjust the pin for reverse, and that seemed to help for a little bit, but now it's as bad as ever. Any suggestions?

You could be low on transmission fluid, but I suspect you'd think that's something the Jiffy Lube people would have picked up on quickly. So it could be a slipping clutch on your transmission, if was never set right from the start that might have worn it out faster.
Then you say it's a 2000 model, it's very likely the clutch pad needs to be replaced by now. It has been 9 years and 1,000+ miles. And if you're doing city driving a lot of stop and go driving.
