The restaurant I work in has a problem?

Sometimes the service is bad. It seems when we have to many tables at the same time. Everything starts going wrong.
The food takes too long, it comes out terrible, etc. Maybe I just had a hard day at work today?

Please help.
Are there any tips or tricks I can learn that will help things go for smoothly and everyone else?
