Hi:) Sorry if this has been discussed before.

I watched the red shoes on sunday and I absolutely fell in love with it:) Considering it was released in 1948 it looks fantastic, although the sound wasn't brilliant.
Are there any other fans out there??
 
This film was one of my favorites as an aspiring dancer in the U.S. It could have also been one of my first British films (I'm old :-). It's true that the colour was spectacular, let alone the dancing. And the ending.... still haunts me.
