Because it brings a comforting atmosphere to the room
Whenever I'm coming home from a hard day's work, I'd take a shower, and get in bed. I have my radio turned down low because I don't like having it too loud when I'm trying to sleep.
Before I go to sleep, I like looking out the window. I never realized how
things look so much beautiful out there. When I have my lights out, or have a nightlight on, I like having my window open and feel that breeze. The breeze and the windy trees, street lights glowing on the trees. Honestly, this type of atmosphere is pretty close to my own personal happy world.
Whenever I'm drifting to sleep while the quiet storm is on, I often
imagine myself being at a quiet, comforting place with no worries, no sorrow, no pain.
Just a place full of relaxation. It's a windy night, i'm walking and feeling pretty good, going to a diner
just things I think about when I have my eyes close drifting to sleep when the quiet storm is on.
I miss The Countdown. I LOVE that theme "The Couunt-down". It might still be on. I just got to listen for it.
I love listening to Sade, Rene & Angela, Babyface, El Debarge, Barry White and Michael Jackson when I'm sleeping. Old school slow songs does take me back to the past.
Really, the Quiet Storm are for lovers. But it's relaxation time for me.
