on my 1999 ford f-150 truck? The rear tail light and turning indicator light have stopped working on our 1998 Ford F-150 truck. We have replaced the bulbs and checked the fuse box, which appear to be okay, yet the lights still do not work. There is no evidence of a wire problem in the visible areas. Any ideas on what can be done to fix it or what might be the problem? We are currently unemployed and cannot afford to go to a shop, but also need our truck to be able to find work. Please help if this problem sounds familiar to you. Thank you! :o)

many many many years of experience (especialy with ford trucks) tells me to tell you to check the ground to the light... its easy... take a (end stripped) piece of wire and stick it along side the bulb when you are putting the bulb in and then touch the other end to a clean metal surface... and wala... you'll probably see the light ! If so... get a new bulb socket for it... they are in the help section of your local auto parts stores... make sure you get the right one.

i had the same problem a while ago and i had to replace the bulb socket, but if thats not it, could be a short somewhere in the wiring
