The rear shock on my DS mountain bike keeps squeaking?

I douse it with WD-40 twice a day, and that only keeps the squeaking quiet for maybe 10 or 15 minutes of riding. The noise is sort of a sqeaking/creaking. How do I make it shut up permanently?
