The Real Prices Of At&t Phones

That's insane they're already making 80% profit on our monthly bill I don't feel they should also be making so much profit on the item we need to have so they can charge us our monthly bill!

Why would anyone buy a cell phone from a carrier without a contract or on a pay as you go? There are a dozen different places that all offer discounts on the hardware. If you do the rebate and sign a contract, it looks as if they are giving away the store... $7 profit on the sale of a $92 phone? Costs more than $7 to write the paperwork.

i'll tell you my story,

my wife needed a new phone and we stopped in to ATT to take a look. i told them i'm not in a contract and don't want to be. how much to just buy the phone?

they gave me the $150 more excuse so i walked him over to the Go Phones.

I picked up the exact same phone we were looking at that would have been $85 + the $150, and asked if this was the exact same phone for $75?

they sad yes. so i asked if their was a contract. they said no,

so guess what phone i bought. now my wife has a new Razor and we are still out of contract.

think before you buy.

Just to let you guys now i work for AT&T COR and do inventory from time to time none of those prices listed on that price sheet even remotely show the Cost of any devices listed.

as for the comment on the 80% mark up on monthly service ? I wish i'd get paid a lot more. Anyways the average subscriber costs AT&T right around $29 a month, Verizon has about $28.50 before the Alltell merger.

People always have a problem paying for Wireless service, but never ***** that the hamburger they just bought for 99 cents only cost a quarter to make, or that gigantic HDTV you bought only cost a fraction of what it was sold to you at.
