i hope so, i went to see the stage show about 2 months ago and it is amazing. i like mel brooks but this is one of his best imo, i still can't get springtime for hitler out of my head.
 
I don't know much about the new film. Who is in it? I saw the stage show last January. Despite having flu and feeling fit to collapse, I had the best afternoon for years. Lee Evens was superlative.
 
The original Zero Mostel / Gene Wilder film will take some beating. It must seem odd for Mel Brookes to make the same film twice (I wonder how long it took him to write the script the second time around).
 
I agree....one of those films I do not want remade.

Gene Wilder is one of my fav's and was brilliant in this.
