Just started on Channel 5.

I love this film but it seemed to get panned by critics.

Mel Brooks is a bloody genius!

The stage show version of it was quite brilliant. Pity they didn't just film that and release it because the film isn't as good and misses out one of the best songs.

I know. They cut out one of my favourite songs 'Betrayed' in the jailhouse, and they ripped apart so many songs. Morons!

How can they NOT have Lorenzo St Dubois in the new version. I just love his Love Power song and that female bass player is sexy as hell.

I saw it in the West End with Nathan Lane and Lee Evans who, imo, was much better at the role.

I like both and own them both on DVD, I prefer the remake because I loved the musical when I watched it years ago.
