the power steering has gone out in my pontiac g5, any advice?

I have a 2007 g5. one day the power steering just quit. Now, this car does not have power steering fluid. Its all electrical. A dealer said the problem was the motor module, but the parts are not avail rt now. I took the motor module out and tested it to find it works fine. Any gm gearheads out there who could give me a point in the rt direction? Again, there is no power steering fluid or pump on this car. Please dont send a bagillion messages saying check the friggin fluid. i saw a similar question here and all the replies said check the fluid. thx
