The "Power" Button

I really am anxious about using the power button of my TX to switch it off. I have heard from many of my friends that after lot of use it got worn down and stopped functioning and the torture of getting it replaced.
Is there any software which can make me switch off my TX from the screen itself or by assigning the function to one of the hard buttons on the front. Maybe reassign the "FIND" icon on the bottom left of the screen to turn off the device instead of searching.
Any suggestions!

I agree with NickGB, the program that he's suggested (PowerBtn) is great, it's freeware, and it's what I've used since day one on my TX. It's nice because it can not only map any 4 of your hard buttons to turn the power off, but there is an option for the program to, whe IT is run, turn off the power, so you could, say, just run PowerBtn fromthe applications launcher to turn off the power. There's another free porgram called Off-It (http://www.freewarepalm.com/utilities/off-it.shtml) - that does only one thing, and that is turn off the power, it doesn't let you map the power off function to any hard buttons, but it's again, free, and VERY SMALL (like 2k!!).

I noticed that, without needing any 3rd party software or hacks, that the power can be turned on by pressing any of the 4 hard buttons on the front. It's like that right out of the box (at least mine was!)

Anyways, it's definitely a good idea to avoid using the actual Palm TX power button.
