I need to write a comparitive essay on Victorian literature. I have chosen the novel The Picture of Dorian Gray and to focus on themes of addiction etc. What other Victorian novel could I pair with this?
Wuthering Heights? Tess of the D'urbevilles? Jane Eyre? etc..
Or should I choose a different theme and, therefore, two different novels?
