The pet store doesn't feed their fish? Should I sneak some food in?

no, you could get in trouble. thats their policy if you dont like it dont work there. would you rather get fired and get a poor grade? sorry thats sucks but thats how it is.

I'm doing a cooperative education program at a pet store every morning for a few hours. I'm in charge of taking care of the animals, and they showed me how to do everything their way.
But i noticed that I was never asked to feed the fish.
Now they never clean their tanks.. so I understand if they don't want a lot of waste.. but some of the fish are there for weeks and end up dying. I asked what I should feed the fish, and the manager said, "oh, the fish don't get fed, it dirties the water".

Should I sneak them a bit of food tomorrow?

I always make sure the bettas are fed and I clean their tanks (they're not kept in tiny little cups) when I go in, because I breed the bettas that they sell in their store so I go in every day and make sure they are taken good care of, otherwise I take the fish back and they don't get their money back. It's on a contract by the way.

So yeah, should i give them some food?

I don't see why not, I would also insist on carrying out some partial water changes, in your own time of course. If the store tries to prevent you from doing this then I would report them on the grounds of animal cruelty.

i would. but you also should report that because the poor fishes really doesn't deserve that they need to be in the ocean not in there in the first place

you're the man...i say you do it right in front of their faces...slow motion style...like "what?!.. what you gonna do?!"...."you want some action??!!"
