The passenger door on my car wont open from the inside?

Its a 2001 Dodge Grand Caravan and I took the panel off the inside of the door and I found that this thin metal rod was disconnected from the back of the panel and from the inside of the door. It needs the part that holds it in place. I checked the driver's side door and its small, white, and plastic. Can you tell me what this part is called and where I can get it, and if you know, how much it is?
 
It's basically a door lock rod retainer.

There's not much else you can call it...but..it's a minor fix.
Any auto parts store can get it...or has it....and the cost is minor.
