The palm pre plus from verizon?

I recently just got the palm pre plus from verizon and it's really hard for me to figure out; i'm usually really good at this type of thing, but I'm so lost. Can you turn off auto delete for yor text messages; can you lock your text messages? Can you hide them? Make a folder for your texts? How can you cstomize your display settings? Ahhh, help me ! Give me everything and anything you can.
oh and, can you customize the touch screen setings and/adjst the vibration settings?
