The outer part of my foot through the arch hurts...what could this be?

I was playing basketball yesterday. I didn't fall, but I don't know if I extended my foot too much or twisted it somehow, but I remember it starting to hurt at one point, so I quit. During the afternoon, it gradually became worse. Tonight, I can't stand on it. Just sitting still, I'm fine. It really hurts when I'm walking or going upstairs to my room. Putting pressure on my foot and even releasing the pressure is painful.

It isn't swollen or discolored. The pain is on my right foot, below my little toe, along the the outside of the foot and when I put pressure on it, it hurts through the arch and top of my foot. My heel is fine and so is my ankle. And it's not a sharp pain, it's more of a burning pain and is continuing to get worse.

What could this be?
strain? sprain? tear?
